Future availability announced

The October 16 Claude Code 2.1.302 changelog adds a warning to /design-sync and /design-login: standalone claude.ai/design closes by December 14, 2026. This is a transition notice, not a shutdown during this week.

The migration documentation confirms that Design now lives in Claude as artifacts and describes moving design systems. One migration covers the organization’s systems; published non-private systems become available across the organization. Zero-data-retention organizations cannot enable artifacts and must export projects before closure; exports are performed one project at a time.

The FAQ says originals remain usable until closure and are then deleted under retention policies. It documents a current process without dating each step’s launch: the week’s anchor remains the dated addition of the warning.

Design is documented on Free, Pro, Max, Team and Enterprise; migration depends on artifacts and organization settings.
