daily.dev exposes feeds and discussions to agents through MCP

daily.devAgents and applications

The “daily.dev for agents” launch provides structured access to the platform’s articles, discussions and reading preferences. Claude, Cursor, Codex or another MCP client can read a personalized feed, search articles, inspect comments and, when authorized, save bookmarks or change filters. The launch also includes a plugin marketplace and OAuth applications.

Feature release / rollout

The remote server uses Streamable HTTP at https://api.daily.dev/mcp. Compatible clients open an OAuth sign-in flow; no local server is required. Read operations are marked accordingly, while account changes require the write scope, which users can decline. Calls consume the account’s API quota and Plus raises limits. The maker’s announcement describes the REST API as free for every account.

The documentation homepage retains generic wording associating API access with Plus. Check the specific quota documentation rather than promising unlimited use. Personal access tokens grant both read and write access, unlike a restricted OAuth consent.

Reading feeds become usable agent context. Community curation can improve discovery but cannot replace primary-source verification.
