Earth AI expands experimental access to geospatial agents

GoogleAgents and applications

On October 14, Google described Earth AI geospatial agents and expanded experimental early access to deep research in Ask Google Earth and an agent-to-agent API. Access uses an interest form; this is not general availability. Teams can bring CSV, GeoJSON or cloud-table data.

Feature release / rollout

On October 14, Google described Earth AI geospatial agents and expanded experimental early access to deep research in Ask Google Earth and an agent-to-agent API. Access uses an interest form; this is not general availability. Teams can bring CSV, GeoJSON or cloud-table data.

The report compares four configurations, from a standalone model to an agent with skills, tools and planning. It uses GeoExpertQueries, GeoKTools and two external datasets; development splits of the two new benchmarks are released. The authors attribute the largest improvement to skills and tools, with an additional planning gain in some conditions. These are vendor evaluations, not a guarantee of correct answers to every territorial problem.

The chronology needs precision: arXiv records the first submission on October 11, 2026 at 16:31:29 UTC, before this week. The October 14 event is Google’s post and expanded access, not a first submission of the report that day.
