On October 14, Google presented its 2025 European Union economic impact report, commissioned from Implement Consulting Group. The estimate exceeds €200 billion in GDP contribution across its products, platforms, infrastructure and operations.
The breakdown assigns about €157 billion to products and platforms, €32 billion to AI and Cloud, and €11 billion to infrastructure and offices. The €200 billion total is therefore not an AI-only impact. This is a commissioned study; its methodology and counterfactual have not been independently audited here.
