On October 16, NVIDIA announced RTX Spark laptop availability from ASUS, Dell, HP, Lenovo, Microsoft and MSI, with additional systems to follow. This milestone is separate from the October 7 unveiling and preorders and the October 13 ecosystem announcements. It should not overwrite the dates of those historical events.
The hardware combines a Blackwell RTX GPU and Grace CPU with up to 128GB of unified memory. NVIDIA advertises up to one petaflop at FP4: a theoretical capability at a specific precision, not guaranteed throughput for every model. Available capacity depends on the purchased configuration; the release does not establish Belgian stock for every manufacturer.
The software boundary matters as much as hardware sales. Native Photoshop and Premiere support comes through beta releases at launch, while Substance is forthcoming. Local agents, CUDA tools and inference sharing on a home network describe a working ecosystem; they establish neither the absence of cloud connections in every application nor independently measured performance across all workloads.
