Public announcement / source release

Sferical AI has presented a Swedish shared system for AstraZeneca, Ericsson, Saab, SEB and Wallenberg Investments, with SKF as strategic partner. Its October 15 release says it has been running since late summer, not first powered on during W42.

The system uses NVIDIA DGX SuperPOD infrastructure and sixteen DGX GB300 systems. Explored applications span drug discovery, telecommunications, defense, finance and industry. Nemotron-based services are planned.

Shared access is for participating companies, not a public GPU offering. Described applications do not establish completed industrial results. Do not conflate systems with rack counts where vendor summaries differ.

Cross-industry infrastructure sharing offers scale that each company may not want to build alone.
